What do Carleton grad students like to do when they’re not studying? Where do they go when they are off-campus?
We want to hear from you about your favorite Ottawa hangouts. Maybe you have a secret (well make that not so secret) place you want to share with newcomers. Maybe there’s a free or cheap spot you would like to recommend. Any places within walking distance of the campus that you would like to suggest?
There are lots of choices as Ottawa has consistently been ranked as one of Canada’s most livable cities. Canada’s capital seems to have something for everyone: the canal, extensive walking and bike trails, bustling farmers’ markets, the ByWard Market, museums, art galleries, numerous shopping opportunities, the Experimental Farm, the National Research Council, the Parliament Buildings, and much more.
