Please be reminded that Facilities Management and Planning (FMP) has completed the seasonal switchover process from cooling to heating in all campus buildings. As a result, we no longer have the ability to cool down the buildings when temperatures are unseasonably warm as they have been this week. This week the forecast calls for much warmer temperatures than normal for October, which means the buildings will be warmer than typical conditions.
We are running the fans in all buildings to keep the air circulating, and will bring in outside fresh air overnight, as the temperature is forecast to drop to 10C. This should help somewhat to alleviate the warmer temperatures by tomorrow morning.
We ask for your patience and understanding given how unpredictable the weather can be.The weather forecast shows a return to more seasonal average temperatures by the end of this week.
