This workshop will look in more detail at copyright, and in particular your rights as an author/creator and user of copyrighted material.

  • Understand the basics of Canadian copyright law
  • Understand how to legally use others’ work in your own research (particularly written)
  • Understand your intellectual property rights as a creator of copyrightable material

This workshop is facilitated by Val Critchley.

All graduate students are welcome. If you are a TA, this session counts toward voluntary paid training hours, provided that you are working as a TA in the term when the training takes place.
