Nov. 15 – It is highly recommended that the 5 hours of paid TA training be completed before 15 November for Fall-only TAs to ensure payment for that term.

Dec. 1 – Last day to submit six examination copies of your master’s or PhD thesis to your thesis supervisor in order to graduate at winter (February)graduation.

Dec. 1– December 1 is the deadline to apply for February graduation. If you will be finishing your degree requirements by December, be sure to go to Carleton Central and complete the online application to graduate.

Dec. 9 – Last day of fall-term classes.  The last day to withdraw, with no academic penalty, from Fall term courses. If you intend to withdraw from your Fall term course, ensure that you log on to Carleton Central and web drop by this date. Last day for handing in term work and the last day that can be specified by a course instructor as a due date for term work for fall term courses. Last day to pay any remaining fall tuition fees to avoid a hold on access to marks through Carleton Central and the release of transcripts and other official documents

Dec. 10 – No classes or examinations take place.

Dec. 11 – 22 – Final examinations in fall term courses and mid-term examinations in fall/winter courses may be held. Examinations are normally held all 7 days of the week.

Dec. 25 to January 1 –University closed

Dec. 31 – Final Payment Deadline. Click here for important payment information. Late charges may be applied to the student account any time after this date.

Dec. 13 Deadline to complete Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Training

Several professional development and skills training opportunities are still available for you on our new Grad Navigate website.  There are six different categories for you to choose from. These sessions are open to all grad students. TAs can claim these as part of their paid training hours, providing the session is during the term in which you are a TA.
