Important Dates & Deadlines


Oct. 10 December examination schedule (fall term final and fall/winter mid-terms) available online.

Oct. 13 Statutory holiday, University closed.

Oct. 27-31 Fall break. Classes are suspended.

Nov. 7 Last day to submit, to the Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities, Formal Examination Accommodation Forms for December examinations.

Nov. 25 Final Payment Deadline. Click here for important payment information. Late charges may be applied to the student account any time after this date.

Dec. 1 Last day for receipt of applications from potential winter (February) graduates.

Dec. 1 – Last day to upload your Master’s or PhD thesis for your thesis defence in order to graduate this winter.

Nov. 5 Deadline to apply for a Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarship

Nov. 15 – Deadline to apply for a Fulbright award

Nov. 15  Deadline to nominate your favorite faculty member for a 2014 Faculty Graduate Mentoring Award

Nov. 19 – Deadline to apply for a Commonwealth Scholarship

Dec. 1 Deadline to complete the application for a Tri-Council (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR) 2015-16 Master’s award

Dec. 1 – Deadline  to hand in applications to depts. for a 2015-16 Ontario Graduate Scholarship

Dec. 1  Deadline to apply for a Women’s Health Scholars Award

Dec. 3 Deadline to apply for a Gates Cambridge award

Dec. 15  Final deadline for PhD students to apply for a Graduate Research and Innovative Thinking (GRIT) award

April 22, 2015 Application Deadline for the RBC Scholarship in Water Research
