TRAINING & CAREER WORKSHOPS
New fall professional development training opportunities are now available on our Grad Navigate website. New workshops are being added on a regular basis. Click on the following five bullets for current training opportunities. TAs can count these sessions towards their training hours.

ACADEMIC DEADLINES
Sept. 17 – Last day of registration for fall term and fall/winter courses. Last day to change courses or sections (including auditing) for fall/winter and fall term courses. Students who have not deposited (via automated upload) the final copy of their thesis to the office of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs must register.
Sept. 26-28 – Summer deferred final examinations to be held.
Sept. 30 – Last day to withdraw from Fall term and Fall/Winter courses with a full fee adjustment. Withdrawals after this date will create no financial change to Fall term fees (financial withdrawal).
Oct. 10 – December examination schedule (fall term final and fall/winter mid-terms) available online.
Oct. 13 – Statutory holiday, University closed.
Oct. 27-31 – Fall break. Classes are suspended.

Nov. 15 – Deadline to apply for a Fulbright award
Nov. 15 – Deadline to nominate your favorite faculty member for a 2014 Faculty Graduate Mentoring Award
Dec. 1 – Deadline to complete the application for a Tri-Council (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR) 2015-16 Master’s award
Dec. 1 – Deadline to hand in applications to depts. for a 2015-16 Ontario Graduate Scholarship
Dec. 3 – Deadline to apply for a Gates Cambridge award
