Jan. 23  Deadline for upper year PhD students to register for  EDC’s Preparing to Teach certificate.

Check out our winter term professional development training opportunities on the Grad Navigate website. New workshops are being added on a regular basis. Click on the following five bullets for current training opportunities. TAs can count these sessions towards their training hours.

You can always access online training through Please note that these training modules do not count towards paid training hours for TAs.



Jan. 31  Last day for a fee adjustment when withdrawing from winter term courses or the winter portion of two-term courses. Withdrawals after this date will create no financial change to winter term fees (financial withdrawal).

Feb. 13 April examination schedule available online.

Feb. 13-21
Fall-term deferred examinations will be held

Feb. 16
Statutory holiday, University closed.

Feb. 16-20
Winter Break. Classes are suspended.

March 1  Last day for UHIP refund applications for International Students who will be graduating this academic year.

March 1 – Last day for receipt of applications from potential spring (June) graduates. Application must be made via Carleton Central.
