Jan. 23  Deadline for upper year PhD students to register for  EDC’s Preparing to Teach certificate.

Check out our winter term professional development training opportunities on the Grad Navigate website. Lots of interesting sessions from Facilitating a Discussion Group to media training. New workshops are being added on a regular basis. Click on the following five bullets for current training opportunities. TAs can count these sessions towards their training hours.

Jan. 9  Winter orientation for all new Graduate Students and TAs

Jan. 16 Students who have not deposited (via automated upload) the FINAL copy of their thesis to the office of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs by this date must register and will not be eligible to graduate this winter (Feb.).

Jan. 16   Last day for registration for winter term courses. Last day to change courses or sections (including auditing) for winter term courses.

Jan. 31  Last day for a fee adjustment when withdrawing from winter term courses or the winter portion of two-term courses. Withdrawals after this date will create no financial change to winter term fees (financial withdrawal).

Feb. 13 April examination schedule available online.

Feb. 13-21
Fall-term deferred examinations will be held

Feb. 16
Statutory holiday, University closed.

Feb. 16-20
Winter Break. Classes are suspended.
