Important Dates and Deadlines


July 23 Last day for a full fee adjustment when withdrawing from late Summer courses (financial withdrawal)

July 24 Last day to submit to the Paul Menton Centre, for Students with Disabilities, formal examination accommodation forms for August examinations.

August 1 Last day for graduate students to submit to their thesis supervisor an examination copy of their Master’s or PhD thesis for Fall graduation

August 25  Payment deadline date for your entire student account. Click here for important payment information. Late charges may be applied to the student account any time after this date.

August 31 – Last day for all graduate TAs to complete their Leave From Duties request for the Fall term (access form via Carleton Central)

August 31 Orientation for new graduate students and new TAs.

August 31 ISSO Orientation for new international graduate students (morning only)

September 1 – Last day for receipt of applications from potential fall (November) graduates.

September 2 – Fall term begins. Fall and fall/winter classes begin.

September 7 – Statutory holiday. University closed.
