Things to Know About Returning to Campus

Please read this message about mandatory vaccinations for Carleton in-person activities.

All students and “anyone” coming to campus must also complete the COVID-19 screening self-assessment through cuScreen. You must complete this screening each day you plan to come to campus. Please note that you will also need to use a QR code when you enter buildings. Please visit the COVID-19 website for more information on Carleton’s return to campus plans.

A significant proportion of courses are expected to be offered on campus this fall in a safe way, but online options will also be available to provide flexibility. You can find out more about fall and winter courses by clicking here on the University FAQs.

The fall/winter 2021-22 class schedule and registration course planning tool is available in Carleton Central and includes which courses will be available for in-person and online learning. Please note, you cannot register unless you have cleared all conditions on your offer. Your time ticket will be updated in your Carleton Central account, after the removal of your conditions is complete.

The Graduate Studies office is now offering in-person services. The front desk will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Students will be moving into residence during the week of Sept. 1 – 5 (inclusive). This may cause additional congestion at the Bronson entrance and near the residences. Parking Lot 6 is being used as a drive-thru area for students and their parents to pick up key packages/building assignments and will be off-limits for parking from Aug. 22 to Sept. 6. Parking around the residences will be temporarily closed Sept. 1 to 5. OC Transpo buses will be rerouted from Campus Avenue to University Drive that week.

You can also check out these construction projects on campus.

Carleton Ravens are sharing their reasons for getting vaccinated against COVID-19 to help encourage their community to protect themselves and others. Find out more by clicking here.

You can get vaccinated at Carleton’s on-campus COVID-19 vaccine clinics. Appointments are available for all students, employees and approved contractors on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from Tuesday, August 24 until Thursday, October 7, 2021.
