The City of Ottawa has announced that O-Train Lines 2 and 4 will open in three phases starting Jan. 6, 2025.
The first phase will offer five-day service, from Monday to Friday for a minimum of two weeks.
The second phase will offer six-day service, from Monday to Saturday, for a minimum of two weeks and the third phase will offer 7-day service. Overall performance will be monitored and assessed during each phase and expanding service will only occur when the system has consistently demonstrated safe and reliable performance.
Parallel bus service will be provided through existing bus routes B2 (formerly called Line 2 buses), 99 and 97 while customers become familiar with the new train routes of Lines 2 and 4. Further changes to bus routes will occur in Spring 2025.
