  • Last chance for class registration! Registration ends Sept. 10, 2024 for early fall courses and Sept. 17, 2024  for full fall, late fall, and fall/winter courses. If you have not yet registered for your classes, please do so through Carleton Central before the deadline.
  • Graduate students who have not electronically submitted their final thesis copy to Graduate Studies by Sept. 17, 2024 will not be eligible to graduate in fall 2024 and must register for the fall 2024 term.

CMAIL/Carleton360/Carleton Mobile App

  • Check your Carleton email (CMAIL) regularly.
  • Use the single sign on feature on your Carleton360 account to access Carleton Central, CMAIL and Brightspace platforms without re-entering your credentials.
  • Update the Carleton Mobile app today! The app is available on Google Play or the Apple App Store. Carleton Mobile has been updated to version 1.3, with a push notifications log, push notifications for course and exam schedule changes, campus map markers for electric vehicle (EV) stations and public transit stops.

U-Pass and Campus Card Combined for Fall 2024
This fall, the U-Pass transit pass and your Carleton student Campus Card are combined. If your Campus Card was issued before Monday, July 1, 2024, you will add the new transit application to your card at the Campus Card Office in 407 Nideyinàn during office hours. You will be enrolled in the program and your U-Pass will be activated as soon as you meet the eligibility requirements. This process replaces the blue U-Pass card and reloading method. If you received your Campus Card after Monday, July 1, 2024, the transit application is already on your card. Your U-Pass will be activated automatically. Visit the U-Pass website for more information.

Wellness Resources

Join TA Central Hub
The TA (Teaching Assistant) Central Hub, in Brightspace, is a portal for TAs to watch pre-recorded training videos, access resource materials and share resources related to teaching. If you are a TA and would like to enrol in the Hub, please contact Sam Shortt. Download our current TA Toolkit so you have a quick way to find all our resources and offerings: TLS TA TOOL KIT 2024-2025.

Update Your TA Profile
All Priority Teaching Assistants (TA) can update their TA Profile immediately after accepting their TA award through the TA Management System in Carleton Central. You do not have to be registered nor have paid your tuition fees in order to fill in your profile. As these profiles are used to determine appropriate and relevant assignments, it is not only important to fill in your profile but also important to keep your information updated. As long as you are an active TA, you can easily update your profile through Carleton Central. Please note that you must be a registered full-time student to be a TA. Please visit the official TA website here.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Self-Enrolment, and Authenticating Without a Network Connection
To enhance the security of the Carleton University community, students, faculty and staff are being enrolled in Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). During the Fall 2024 semester, graduate students will automatically begin seeing prompts to set up MFA when they attempt to log into Microsoft 365 services using their MyCarletonOne password. However, students who wish to self-enrol in Microsoft MFA before they begin seeing prompts can do so by visiting this page and clicking the Self-Enrol Now button. Additionally, the Microsoft Authenticator app now works to authenticate you even when you are not connected to Wi-Fi, or if you don’t have active cell service. Learn how to authenticate without a network connection.
