Ellen is responsible for internal and external communications for Graduate Studies. Ellen produces a weekly newsletter (TheGraduate@Carleton) for grad students during the academic year. She manages the graduate program viewbook and maintains both the graduate admissions site and the grad student website. Ellen writes about grad students and promotes their research and awards, highlighting their accomplishments on the student site as well as across university communication channels.

• Program content updates and photos of grad programs marketed in the graduate digital custom viewbook;
• Creation of new program pages and edits to current programs on the graduate admissions site;
• Promoting grad students and their research;
• Promotional items for graduate programs such as brochures, draft email templates and videos (can assist co-ordination with DUC and videographers).
