Director, Graduate Studies & Registrar

Kevin is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Graduate Studies, including overseeing processes and systems related to graduate students and stakeholders:

• Front-line service
• Admissions
• Registrarial functions
• Thesis processing
• Graduation
• Professional development
• Communications
• Policy and Regulations

Kevin works in a cross-campus capacity on academic and operational committees to inform and align the graduate program mission, with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation and collaboration.

Kevin holds Bachelor degrees from Lakehead University, as well as a Bachelor and Masters of Education from the University of Alberta. His experience includes working on a team of experiential marine educators, undergraduate and graduate student recruitment and academic advising at universities across Canada including Dalhousie University, the University of Alberta, the University of Ottawa and Carleton University.
