Water Restored – University Dr. at Pigiarvik
Update #2: September 15, 2023 at 10 a.m.
All water service has been restored following yesterday’s watermain break in front of Pigiarvik near University Dr. Crews continue restoration of the land/hardscape in the area. Barricades, cones, and caution tape will remain in place until work is completed on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023.
Update #1: 9 a.m.
At 7:45 a.m., there was a watermain break in front of the main entrance to Pigiarvik on University Dr.
The break has been isolated and there is no loss of water service to any campus buildings. However, the line will need to be repaired. Excavation work will begin this morning and there may be partial lane closures to allow the work to be safely carried out.
Please continue to expect traffic delays on University Dr. until the repairs are completed.
8:15 a.m
At 7:45am, there was a watermain break near Pigiarvik and University Dr. Crews are investigating. Please expect traffic delays this morning on University Dr.
An update will be provided as more information is available.
